|For 50 years now, the ŠKODA JS company has been active in engineering and supplies for the nuclear energy industry. At present the staff of the company has more than 1100 employees. Two-thirds of these are technicians and administrative workers (designers, manufacturing and calculating engineers, laboratory and testing workers, salesmen, and economic staff); the remaining one-third represents workers. In 2004 a new owner took over the company - a Russian mechanical-engineering group OMZ, which guarantees the perspective and development of nuclear energy programmes within the company. In 2004 the company became a subsidiary of the Russian OMZ Group. A production line includes CRP for NPPs, casks for transportation and storage of SNF, control rod drive mechanisms.|
JSC Federal Center on Nuclear and Radiation Safety has been established in accordance with the Government Order as of 23.08.2007 and operational under the auspices of the State Corporation Rosatom. Nowadays, JSC FCNRS is actively involved in resolution of complicated and complex technology problems associated with SNF management and RW management at the territory of the Russian Federation. The enterpise implements a lot of industry proects on development of new technologies and equipment for processing, storage, and disposal of SNF and RW.
JSC FCNRS is in charge for implementation of international contracts related to organization of retrieval of Russian-origin SNF from foreign countries for temporary storage and reprocessing.
Scientific and Production Firm Sosny (NPF Sosny) is concentrated on nuclear energy research and development, in particular non-standard tasks on SNF management in Russia and abroad. The company was established in 1992 in order to provide complimentary services in the field of post-reactor investigations using RIAR "hot" chambers and glove box lines.

|PACTEC is a global leader in the field of design and manufacture of packages for LLW and ILW. Basically, the company focuses on flexible packages as applied to LLW in many nuclear countries (U.K., Japan, U.S.A., Germany, etc.). In addition, the company manufactures drying systems for liquid radioactive waste streams.|
|The World Nuclear Transport Institute (WNTI) was founded in 1998 by British Nuclear Fuels plc (BNFL), now International Nuclear Services (INS) of the United Kingdom, COGEMA now AREVA of France, and the Federation of Electric Power Companies (FEPC) of Japan to represent the collective interests of the radioactive materials transport sector, and those who rely on safe, effective and reliable transport. Over the past decade, WNTI has grown dramatically with member companies drawn from a wide range of industry sectors, including major utilities, fuel producers and fabricators, transport companies, package producers, and the production and supply of large radiation sources.|
